Uptick NFT App Launches on IRISnet

The 1st NFT App in the Cosmos/IRISnet Ecosystem

Uptick App is officially launched on IRISnet mainnet now, which is the first NFT dApp developed by Uptick Network and powered by IRISnet. This version of Uptick on IRISnet is the first business-level NFT app in the Cosmos ecosystem, covering digital collectible cards and event e-tickets. It is an open market in the user’s own hand.

With the upgrade on Feb 25, IRISnet is not only the first mainnet that made IBC (Inter-Blockchain Communication) connection with Cosmos Hub, but also be the first mainnet integrated with NFT function in the Cosmos ecosystem. And IRIS foundation made the grant to Uptick Network (StarryMedia) to build NFT applications last year. After several months’ development and testing, on March 12, this application of Uptick App launches on IRIS Hub for everyone to use.

Any user on IRIS Hub can sign up for an Uptick account for free. Each user can easily publish his own NFT cards and NFT e-tickets within finger tips, also purchase, transfer, resell the NFT assets in the Uptick market at any time. These NFT assets are protected by the infrastructure of IRISnet and Application of Uptick: Event tickets and NFT digital collectible cards are issued and managed on IRIS Hub to assure the ownership, while on application level, the characters like anti-counterfeiting by transparent watermark can further protect creator’s copyrights. This prevents the fraud from the original source.

At the same time, Uptick has the original creator loyalty collecting model. As the original creator of NFT assets, every time the asset is sold in the secondary market, the creator will get a certain percentage of the transaction amount as a profit sharing. This makes every NFT issuer have the sustainable loyalty benefit and is encouraged to create better quality NFT assets.

As a decentralized app, the transaction between seller and buyer does not require the middleman, and the transaction records are transparent and verifiable. Users have the freedom to transfer and trade their NFT assets at any time.

Each NFT asset is unique and has extremely high scarcity and appreciation potential. You, with a unique eye, might inadvertently collect “masterpieces” or a hot event ticket from Uptick that will have significant appreciation in the future.
