Poem

An azure love spell

Incantations I breathe with the breath of the moon
daring to sing salted songs played for you
Vibrations take flight from deserted waveforms
to lay love for garments bright cobalt adorns
Soft sodalite whispers appease your demands
with esurient cravings buried by sands

Finding your Oxfords, your Cambridge, your blues
my eyes light upon the refinement of you
With a quick lick of genius from eloquent splendour
you strike up symphonic my ocean of ardour
Breaking in sea foam, your surf touches land
I fold for the pleasure of what you command

Ancient ultramarine plucks shore-lined etudes
a wicked glimmer of sea starlight imbued
Your tide finally turns to leave me forlorn
abandoned and shipwrecked our seas rent and torn
Cerulean breezes dust recollections of hands
reframing our storm fronts upon bygone strands
